Type of a scam Online Purchase
The scammer came to me through an app called "Offer up" where I sell some of my goods and claimed that he is going to send me the money through the app "CashApp". After that he started saying that the money can’t be credited in my account because my cash app account is not a business account and I have to buy a $200 dollars gift card to be able to use my cash app account and have my funds, so I did that but then he said now you need to buy a $500 dollars gift card, there I realized that this is a fraud and reported it to the bank but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get my funds back.
