Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
I’ve received numerous calls from multiple phone numbers for this "company." When I call the number back, I get someone saying they did not just call me. They try telling me they are calling to help me consolidate my credit card debt and/or to get a lower interest on a credit card. I have no major credit cards. When I tell them that, they usually hang up on me. This time I asked how they got my phone number. I had to ask the guy 7-8 times. He claimed he got my phone number from my "boyfriend." I asked him what my boyfriend’s name was and his response was "why should I tell you that?" I replied that I did not have a boyfriend. The guy tried telling me I was a liar. I hung up at that point.
