Type of a scam Debt Collections
Received a call from this Capital Consultation Group claiming I owe over $600.00 for a computer anti-malware service tht was obtained in November 2014 from a company called U.S. Tecnological Solutions. I have no record of any such purchase from any such company and internet research has failed to find any company of that name providing said computer services. I’ve attempted to respond to the initial email but the email is always returned as failed. I’ve not called yet but intend doing so today. Online research for this Capital Consultation Group has not produced any results either. Company refused any credit card payment stating they accept only checks. I repeatedly requested the name and phone numnber of the original company but was not provided any information until receipt of the email. That was when the internet search failed to produce any further information.
I have never received any notice or billing from either company and, as stated, have no canceled checks, no credit card statements nor any billing receipts reflecting any business with the alleged company.
