Type of a scam Tax Collection
Received automated voicemail claiming to be CRA and about to file tax evasion/fraud charges against "me". The message did not provide my name specifically. The message left a return phone number 613-800-1232 that I should call right away. This is clearly an identity/information seeking scam. Do not return this call and do not provide any information whatsoever. This is not the way CRA operates, not even close.
