My experience: on during the week of april 7th, 2019 i was searching for a maltipoo puppy. I have wanted one of these puppies for a long time, and i had spent the past two years saving to get one. A website for akc maltipoo puppies also known as cacha maltipoo homes caught my eye. They had pictures of 9 puppies that were so very cute and to my amazement they were 50% off. They said they were reducing the price because they were expecting another litter of puppies by the end of the month. They were also offering a free shipping sale. I did not like the idea of shipping such tiny puppies i thought that would be so very traumatic for the puppies. But they reassured me that they were shipped in the plane with a puppy nanny that would stay with the puppy throughout the enitre flight and then meet me at the airport. This cacha maltipoo homes, located in bensalem, pa was about 9 hours away from me. I was having some rather bad health issues on top of my regualr ones and drving that distance alone was not an option. We traded emails and they told me how they would very much like to place the puppy i wanted in my home. I was going to have this puppy as a support dog. I had lost several members of my family over the past couple years. We thought, doctors and myself, that this would be a good option for me. So i thought i had asked all the right questions and check online and did not see any bad reviews about this place. But then again the only reviews i did see they had on their site and they were not dated, but seemed good. They had a contract that they sent me and it all seemed in order. I had asked how quickly could things go and was told by them as well as on the site that after the payment, and agreement were received that within 3-6 hours i would either be able to pick up the puppy or they would give me the itinerary for the puppy to be shipped. After sending back the contract and paying the money they were all pleased and told me they would give me all the information the next day. That was on the evening of april 9th, 2019. Prior to sending payment they told me that for an additional $60.00 they would arrange to have the puppy brought directly to my home. So i agreed. I told them that i wanted to have him on the 12th but if that didnt suit then the 11th. They said i would have him on the 12th and they would send the itinerary on the 10th. I waited all day and nothing came. The morning of 4/11/2019 i get this email from them just asks how my day was and nothing else. Then a second one that all it said was hello. I sent them the first of many that day that said i had to have all the flight information and times now. Then they say they need proof i sent the money. Which i had done two days prior and they acknowledged that. I told them this and they say they want a screen shot now. I said look you know you have the money and i know they have the money do not start this or i will call authorities on them. As bad as i want the puppy i was not going to be scammed. They say either i give them what they want or they will not continue with the process. I sent them another copy off my laptop that gave the transaction number, the amount and who they told me to send the money to. They say that isnt what they want. They want a screenshot, and am i trying to scam them? I could not send a type of screen shot they wanted me to text to them, i have a land line phone. So i take a camera and photograph the laptop screen of exactly what i had sent them two days prior as well as the hour before. Then they say ok. I tell them i want the information now. They will do it in the evening of the 11th. Now i have no other choice but to wait. I wait until 8pm on the 11th and now they are totally not responding. I called them, i emailed them… Nothing. I did everything i thought i should have, i even had them send me a video of the puppy i wanted so i could see it in real time to be sure it was the same puppy as the picture on the website. It did look bigger but theyt assured me he weighed 2.5pounds and was born on 1/18/19. Now i have paid out all my money and have nothing. now we come to the day of delivery. And as of last night they refused to answer any of my emails and any of my calls. Once they were positive they had my money….. Nothing.
i sent an email this morning asking where the puppy was but no response. I am going to pursue this legally but first my biggest concern is getting this out so they are not able to take advantage of anyone else again. This was to be my support dog. This was my last hope and they took it from me.
