I received a letter in the mail from , " The Offices of Butler, Rose, & Jameson Associates in Babylon, NY. The letter stated I had won 3.9 million and needed to verify my information and send $20 for a processing fee. It was signed Steve Owen, Treasurer.

I got an official looking letter in the mail (it scared me because I didn’t know why a law office from NY would be contacting me) from Butler, Rose, & Jameson associates in Babylon, NY saying that I had won 3 million dollars & I had to send in $20 processing fee for them to release my winnings, when I googled the name of the place, a site about being ripped off came up. I think the site was called ripped off report dot com.
And then days later, I got another letter saying something similar but it was from some place called NPF in planview, NY
I’m starting to wonder how many scams are going on in NY & how do these fraud criminals get their info???? Is this somebody’s reward for having a good credit score???
