I received a phone call at home on my landline from a phone number located in Kenner, LA. When I answered it was an electronic voice message claiming it was the Bureau of Internal Revenue and that there were a number of fraudulent reports connect to my social security number and that I needed to call them back immediately on their number (which was a long distance number) or they would proceed with criminal charges. I did not call the number therefore, I am assuming my information was not stolen.
