Chris Jarosz and I agreed on a price to build a metal building, fence and replace siding on my house. He wrote up a contract for 30,000. We paid for the materials and wrote him checks for labor as we went along. We started adding up how much we already paid him and told him we were close to the agreed amount and we still don’t have a barn. He told us he would take care of us. He took off to do other jobs and never came back and it was a year before he paid us part of what he owed us back because we reported him to the Sheriff Dept in Collin County and they turned it over to the DA who made several phone calls to him. This scared him and he agreed to pay us the partial amount of 7,000. Our siding is not finished and was put on wrong and the fence is not finished. He also took a few tools and they broke a water spigot that we had to replace while working on the house. I was ready to let it go but received a phone call from a lady that moved here from Florida. She told me she hired Chris and he ran off with 42,000 of her money and she has no barn to show. There is no telling how many people he has done this to.
