Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was told to invite Daniel Kipling in google hangouts for an interview. I was offered the job (data entry administrative assistant work from home) and was told that I would receive a check in the mail and funds would be available immediately to purchase equipment from a vendor. Never said the vendors name. I asked wouldn’t it be easier to have the company send me equipment rather than giving me a large amount of money ? It took him 2 seconds to send a long paragraph explains why money is given to employees to purchase from vendors. Never telling me the vendors name or the actual equipment. Something came over me and I had the bank revert the check since my bank holds large check amounts for up to 2 days. They flagged it and reverted it back to the sender as if they never sent me a check in the first place. I informed the Daniel character and he threw a fit saying he was going to call the authorities but I did my part and shut him down. After I told him the authorities were on my side I never heard from him again and the bank is settling everything with the check and I no longer have anything to worry about.
