Type of a scam Debt Collections
This so called company has called me in reference to a payday loan from the year 1999 or 2000, which I have paid and as recently as last year received a letter stating that the loan has been settled and I should not receive any communications from any pay day loan companies. So today 2/13/2020 someone has called me from a company called Brooks Biseman saying they are attempting to collect a debt. I am not sure if these companies buy the information from other companies but nevertheless they called, asked me to verify the last 4 of my social. Not sure what country they are calling from an 862 and an 888 area code.
