"Brenda Lynn" sent an email requesting baseball training for her 4 children. She is hearing impaired. She wanted to pay for lessons for her children but could not pay by check. She wanted to pay by credit card and after numerous attempts to have her pay via Paypal, Venmo and even Quickbooks etc. ‘she’ then still wouldn’t pay. Then she had said that her children were going to be dropped off by ‘private taxi’. After a couple of days emailing and texting back and forth I started to believe it was scam. She then asked for a ‘favor’:
"The driver has been the one taking care of my kids since i had been at the hospital and I supposed to have paid the driver myself but he does not have a credit card facility…So please i want you to add an additional $3,688.35 to the initial $2,400.00 making it to be $6,088.35…. once the funds for got cleared, you take your $2,400.00 which is the payment of the lessons of my children and the remaining $3,688.35 please you help me deposit it via cashier check or transfer into his account, once you its sent, you forward me your address and the slip to me so i can forward it to him? please so he can confirm i have my kids booked for the lessons dates and time"
