Brenda Jean Walker contacted the consumer via Facebook. A friend referred the consumer to Ms. Walker (consumer later found out the friend had been hacked). Ms. Walker claims to be an atty in FL specializing in government grants, and offered to get the consumer a $50k grant for a $500 processing fee. Ms. Walker gave the consumer a bar license number (898112) in FL that does trace back to an atty named Brenda Jean in FL. The consumer sent $200 via Moneygram. Ms. Walker is now contacting the consumer about collecting the other $300.
