Looking for boxer puppies on facebook I reached out to them and I was sent pictures of the puppies to pick from. I looked through all the pictures and they stated that they would send me a "bill of sales" document. I felt like they were pushy when I was not getting back to them right away. The document came via email and it seemed to be legit (atleast that was my initial thought). I was asked to send the $600 via walmart, Zelle, or western union. I went with the zelle option and sent the $600. Up until I sent the money they were consistant with getting back to me, then I started to get the run around. I didn’t hear anything that whole day until my phone ran several times in the middle of the night and text messages started coming rapid fire. I was told that the pet was flying in and that "happy tails" was going to transport the dog. I was sent several other documents that I thought were legit (still had my hopes up). Looking at the documents there were different address with the same name as well as a different name on the zelle receipt. Once I confronted them I stopped hearing from them. I looked up the name on my documents and the location and spoke to the real person who had no idea this was taking place. A friend of mine messaged them a day later pretending to be interested in a puppy and they went right into the same scam!! I hope they get caught!!!
