Type of a scam Rental
Someone posted a rental ad on Tulia.com for 4218 Parkvista Trail, Round Rock Tx 78665. Copied an original add. Offered home at $1000per month. Original price was posted at $2150. Said he would lease 12 months then lease purchase for $100000. Said his daughter was getting married this weekend so he was out of town. Wanted $1000 deposit wired from Walmart to hold property. Said he would let us get the key out of the lockbox to keep after he got the wire. Used Rently to unlock lockbox and allow us inside the house to tour. Very heavy Middle Eastern accent. Said he and his wife just wanted someone to take care of the house since it was their family home. Said he had several others looking at house and needed a decision soon.
