On Monday October I was contacted by an email about a job opportunity Fatima Frank sent the email. I replied back, and he gave me information to contact Shweta Pokhriyal. In which I did, and she asked me multiple questions to interview me for a position with Bluebird Solar company, and after the questions was over, she told me she would let me know if I was selected for the position. This interview was done through the hangouts app, so I never talked to anyone via phone or face to face. Paperwork was also emailed to me with the job offer and other paperwork work for a job. I sit on it for some hours, because I keep feeling like it was to good to be true, and that is what I kept hearing in my head. So the next morning a cashiers check was FedEx to me, so I looked at the check good and it looked legit. I went to the bank that was on the check The First National/The Convenience Bank, and the teller quickly said it could be fake. I let the bank, and called The First National Bank of Texas, to have them look into the check. The man looked up the info and said that is a counterfeit check, and I just wanted to see where this all would lead to so I created a fake receipt to sent to her. She gave me instructions to deposit it, and sent the deposit proof. So now I’m waiting on her, she did reply back to say she has it and to thank me for my good work with the company. Now I will say I’m very disgusted at this point, and I just can’t believe these thieves nowadays. I’m just glad I went with a feeling I had, and not deposit that check in my account. But I would like to report them before someone does deposit one. These fraud people need to be caught and charged accordingly. I’m also happy to say that I didn’t share my SSN or any other information. Just address and name, but nothing serious. It also was another company trying to get me, but I seen they was not as good as these people to get as far as these people did.

Found job offer on well known jobsearch website, filled out application. Was later contacted that they would be interviewing in Google Hangouts and gave me a reference number. I followed the directions conducted the interview and was offered the job. The website is for an actual company in Delhi, India but these people are not representatives. They are willing to invest time to push the narrative. After the interview I was offered the position. The key is that they are offering to send you a check for materials needed. I got my onboarding package the next morning, I9, W4 Employee Handbook, ETC. its all very convincing.

Among the other victims that I found for this Bluebird Solar scam, I have been damaged the worse financially. Just like to others I answered an ad y a job recruiter on Gmail stating that my resume had been reviewed and that an interview could be arranged immediately. I received an interview through Google Hangouts and this ‘Talent Acquisition Manager’ interviewed me via text only. He asked pertinent job questions, provided a link to the Bluebird Solar website; provided the company’s Code of Conduct and other internal rules and regulations. It took about an hour and he stated to hold on for a moment and then returned and stated I was hired. He explained that he would be sending a check via FEDEX for my laptop and supplies. He told me I would be working from home until they finished building their facility near me. He in turn with another person that would be my manager sent me a Job Offer letter that was signed by the CEO…I was thrilled. I had to return a W4 and I-9 from with major data including my SSN. Once I received the check he asked me to deposit it in my bank and they put it on hold for 2 days. He asked me to let him know once the funds became available and I did. He then instructed me to take out just about all of the fund and to deposit it in another account that belonged to the vendor that would supply my laptop and supplies. I felt something was wrong at that time so I came back and researched the ScamPulse.com Site and sure enough it was too late. Not only had I been scammed I had to repay an enormous amount of money in the thousands back to the bank. Did I say during the employment process I filled out a W4 and I-9 from with my personal data. I am now a victim of a fraud that will take years to recover from. There are no agencies that will track these folks down…a life damaging experience that will affect me, my family, and my loved ones.

I am currently unemployed. The only thing I have done is go through the Arizona DES website to fill out a Resume and look for employment. On Friday Sept. 7, 2018 I rec’d a very strange text message, the grammar, spelling, punctuation etc was all incorrect. The message stated that a Mr. Jesse O’blak the chief human resources officer of Bluebird Solar and his hiring team had received, reviewed and approved my resume I uploaded and that they wanted to hire me. They would discuss job details, pay, benefits etc after I replied back with a (YES I AM) if I was interested. I had not ever applied to a Bluebird Solar. I worked in the financial business for 30+ years and saw so many scams over the years I knew immediately this was one. I looked into Bluebird Solar and they are based in India. I emailed them and they do not have anything in the USA nor do they hire anyone in the USA. I gave them all the information so they would be aware of what was going on. Don’t fall for any of these job scams you will be so sorry. They will steal your identity, all of your personal information and remember nothings for free, or if it’s to good to be true then it isn’t true. Don’t fall for it. Be diligent and really look into things. Luckily I didn’t give them any info or money or anything not even a text back to the ph# . Remember to CYB always !!!!

A guy with accent call me said he got my name from Zip Recrewer and offered me a position for Data Entry.  At 25.75 and hour, which I thing was low.  The name that I was talking to is Akshay Mittal, he said he was send a check for $4962.00 and a second check for $6464.00 by FedEx, which I did received.  The position was a work at home job, he want me to cash the checks, turn the checks into money orders.  Take the money orders to Wells Fargo and put it in to Boluwatife Agboola, account # 2804946966.  That was not something I would do, it was just a strange request.

I was contacted about a job offer with a company called Bluebird Solar. A person by the name of Shivi Tyagi ([email protected] ) contacted me letting me know of available positions within this company. They conducted an interview and I was offered the job on the same day. I was sent a confirmation letter and OFFICIAL UNITED STATES DOCUMENTS such as w-4 and I-9. This email was sent from a person named Kesslyn Howard ([email protected]) Bluebird Solar is indeed a company based out of India, but these people do not work for them. They asked me for my email, address, phone number ect. Yes.. I gave it to them but luckily, I am using a temporary address and not what is on my government documents. They said I would work from home and then work in the office when it opens on September 10th. The entire interview was on google hangouts. She also said that they would be sending me a check in the mail and to let them know when I receive and they would give me special instructions on what to do with it. They said that I would need to use the check to purchase training software. They also mentioned that they would be mailing me a laptop and hotspot.
