This number showed on my caller ID which begins with the area code I am in. Answered the call and was greeted with a recording explaining they were Blue Cross Blue Sheild offering a 1 time insurance plan that was only available before the renewal date. In order to receive the plans offered at the lower amts. available you had to opt in now to "hold" the plan offered before it went up during renewal time. When I clicked in the number 1 to find out what it was a young man answered with a foreign accent and asked what plan I was interested in. I told him the Medicare supplement. He then asked for my name and age then asked if I wanted part A&B but because I couldn’t understand if he was saying A&B or A&D I repeated I was interested in their Medicare supplemental plan. He then hung up on me. I felt there was something fishy about the call. After doing a phone number search I found the number belongs to a private individual so I called the number and it does belong to a young lady who said she’s been receiving a lot of calls recently from people saying her number showed up on their phone. I believe these scammers are lifting private numbers for use in their scamming so BEWARE….AND NEVER EVER GIVE OUT YOUR SSN TO ANYONE! SOCIAL SECURITY NOR INSURANCES WILL CALL YOU, YOU CALL THEM. AND BY CALLING "THEM" I MEAN YOU KNOW IT IS THEIR NUMBER YOU ARE CALLING, NOT BY JUST CALLING A NUMBER A SCAMMER BACK.

This is a Blue cross Blue shield health care scam. They don’t give up calling you (Harassing you) on the phone, I block them on a call blocker and they keep calling back with a new number from a different state;

This is the 2nd complaint that I have filed about this, the Government should put a stop to them scamming people!
