Got a text offering $500 a week for wrapping my car. No body text, sent as a picture only. Asking to give name, address, make of car, etc. Thought it looked sketchy.
I had two people messing me from text. I knew from start it was a scam so I ignored them, but here to let others know it is still happening. They offered both times on 500 dollars and to give vehicle model, address, name, etc. I don’t want someone falling for this scam. Also, they both used gmail accounts not even with bluebell.

Job for blue bell wrapped driving campaign, for monster enery drink auto wrap advert promo using dallas semi trailer repair check and reaching you through text no actual info given exept for about the job, what it pays even if you just send in only the resume they’ll send a check and instruction with no other information
Got text message and then sent out check and letter. Looked up the business on check it’s an engineer company out of NY. The return address is a heavy equipment rental company out of GA. The phone number on letter in out of MI 231 224 6296. Name on letter is Ronald Miles.

Inquired about auto wrap ad, they messaged me back and a few weeks later I received a check in the mail with letter advising me what to do but did not do what they said. They keep messaging me to find out about the check. I told them I was wanting to wait until check clears bank.

Wanted me display decals for Bluebell ice cream for 500.00 a week, I would get my 1st check for 2800.00 but they sent 3,651.49 i, was to deduct my 500 and the rest goes to the specialist in his account for when he came out to put the decals on my car the bank on the check was Community Development Bank in Walnut Creek CA and the company on the check was Broadway &Main Properties LLC in Modest CA, I called Bluebell icecream and found out it was a scam the name on the letter with the check was Ronald Miles, number they texted from 209-224-0267

Think the initial job offer was in a txt then the person started emailing with demands and sent a check and all I know is once I said that I was interest the next day a Check of 4800 came and they said deposit immediately then tell the bank I need it in 24 hours and let them know when it clears and then they would give more information
Check showed up and with instructions and I said this look like a gimmick let me call better business bureau
