They advertise for a Virtual Office Assistant on LinkedIn. They email you about two days later stating you have the position and to respond back with an acceptance letter to accept the job. When you accept the job about a week or you will receive an email stating you have the position and they will send you your first weeks pay and a check to cover a printer and software needed for the job. That raised a red flag for me. No company will hire you without further hiring processes, such as an interview for starters and a background check.. Also, if you need equipment or software a company will not send you a check to purchase those things. They will provide them for you.
