My family and I were searching for a dog online when we stumbled upon billysbordercollie.com. One of the puppies named Bear sparked our interest, so we contacted the breeders via email to take next steps. They quickly provided us with a sufficient amount of information regarding the puppy’s health and transportation plans since the breeder claimed to be in another state. Their email responses were almost immediate throughout the communication process. They told us to either use Zelle or CashApp to send a payment of $850, which would cover the adoption fees as well as the airfare to fly Bear over. Once the payment went through, we received one last email claiming that Bear would arrive in the next few days. Since then, my husband has emailed them consistently and has not received a response. Subsequently, I found that their website has a privacy warning and is no longer active.
