Type of a scam Online Purchase
My wife was attempting to buy a Pug puppy. She found the website, clicked on the contact button. Within a few minutes someone from the website sent her an email. They stated the puppies will come with papers and they will come with food, and that the puppy would be sent as soon as the money is received.
The part that seemed fishy to me was the fact that they wanted a Walmart to Walmart payment only (non-traceable).
I had my wife send them an email to see if we could come to them in person and pick out a puppy. The last and only response was “okay”. She asked for an address to go to them. But did not receive one.
They stated that a Male Pug puppy could be purchased for $550.00. Which is very low and appealing. Luckily we saw through this, but I’m sure some haven’t been so lucky.
