Type of a scam Phishing
"YES" Scam. "Billy Gonzalez" called my office, the receptionist transferred the call to my direct line, when I answered, the caller asked if this was (me), I said "Yes". He said "This is Billy Gonzalez" and hung up the phone.
I called the number on the caller ID and received a message stating the number had been disconnected or was no longer in service.
According to the FCC, this scam is done in order to obtain a voice signature.
