Type of a scam Online Purchase
In mid November 2018 I had been looking to buy a dump trailer on Craigs List and agreed to purchase a 2017 Dump Trailer 7×14 Hydraulic. The seller Amanda Martin, 3040 Central Ave, Billings, MT 59102, [email protected] claimed the the dump trailer was being stored at Billings Cargo Shipping (406) 662-1396, www.billings-cargo-shipping.com, [email protected], 1601 Lampman Dr, Billings, MT 59102 as she was a resident and her husband recently passed away and this is way she was selling the trailer. The seller directed me to work with and escrow company to protect our transaction. After I wired the money to the Escrow Company in Las Cruces, NM 88011, I waited the 5 days I was told to the trailer was supposed to take to be shipped to my house and the trailer never showed up. After repeated calls to Billings Cargo Shipping and a lot of run around, I realized the whole deal was a scam.
