A man by the name of Jerry Manase contacted me via hangouts app offering me a data entry position working from home making$35 an hour. They sent me a start up check for $3450 for the equipment I needed to purchase. I had issues at the bank and they labelled it a scam. Only after my husband threatened to file a report I was unable to get a hold of them. Luckily I wasn’t out much money, I hope nobody else has

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
My 85 year old mother (WITH NO CREDIT CARDS) just received a letter from Better Homes and Gardens stating that they regret to inform her that they did not receive complete information on my mother’s credit card, and therefore could not process a credit card transaction.
Then, it states that in order to receive the next issue, they are taking the liberty of entering a credit subscription for her. It states that my mother will receive this issue in the near future and an invoice will be sent to her shortly thereafter. Then, it states that BH&G hopes that this meets with my mother’s approval.
