Beck Plumbing Mtc is not a legitimate plumber. Every Yelp review states they were sent out by American Home Shield (another scam) to fix a plumbing issue, and either over charged parts by 400% or did not perform the service properly. They were sent to my home by the same company when my basement was flooding. The technician did not fix the problem, he stated he couldn’t snake the drain without breaking up the cement floor of my basement. He said "this is going to be a big job!" and then left without fixing anything, causing my entire finished basement to fill with water, rather than just the corner where the problem started. Next day he told me he needed the amount of my insurance deductible ($1000) to continue to work. Since I was panicked, I agreed. He also stated that a credit card would be an extra 3% fee, so I wrote him a check. which was then cashed at a party store, so my bank was unable to do a chargeback once I realized I’d been scammed. After he collected the check, he never returned. He kept claiming to be waiting for my insurance to approve my claim, but in reality, I’d been had.
