was looking for a job e-mailed resume to a company i found on local state run employment board. scammer contacted me for interview on google hangouts, then said sending me checks for the use of purchasing a laptop, accessories and software for job with 200.00 sign on bonus. checks came via fedex. i was told to deposit immediately and send scammer screenshot of mobile deposit. i went to bank instead and verified that checks were no good. i told scammer that and they did not contact me again.
