Type of a scam Debt Collections
I received two calls from relatives stating that a "JACK" was calling them numerous times. One relative stated he called her job, and the other relative stated he called them 15 times back to back. Another 2 relatives stated they had also been contacted several times. He Left a harassing voicemail about me and left my physical address on one of my relatives voicemail. I contact this Mr. Jack, and he stated I was being served legal papers. I let him know I would need to see what legal papers he was talking about. He stated someone had already came to my residence and I did not answer. I am always home with my husband and no one ever showed up at our door. My husband called him as well, and he began threating my husband saying rude things to him. I am making a report with the FTC and my Attorney Generals office regarding his threating and harassing calls. This man is very rude, and makes false threats. he never wanted to disclose the name of the company he was with, nor did he want to provide me with any other information. He only was seeking payment on something he can’t prove and has not given me any documentation, even though he let all 4 of my relatives know of my address.
