On 8/9/20, I went on to the [email protected] with the intention of inquiring about purchasing a Welsh Pembroke Corgi puppy. I received a response from Kevin Steve. I informed him I was interested in purchasing the 10 week old puppy "Luna" shown on the website. Kevin Steve responded quickly and asked how soon I wanted the puppy. I told him I needed to get my home ready for her arrival. I also asked for more pictures and Kevin Steve emailed me photos and a video. He then requested a deposit for Luna. They now were texting me because they had my cell number. He stated this how to be sent via CashApp. I sent the $300 deposit on 8/06/20 (see transaction information above). I told him I wanted the puppy to be delivered on 8/18/20. She was to be shipped from 1324 Westboro Drive S.W., Atlanta, Georgia 30310 Phone (229) 280-1506. A day or so passed and I emailed/texted them to removed Luna from the website because I didn’t want anyone else to be able to purchase her as I had placed a deposit. He said "OK" but she was never removed. He then asked if I wanted "Luna" sooner and I said yes. So delivery date was moved up to Friday, August 14, 2020. I asked for the contract and he asked for the balance. At this time, I informed him I was NOT paying anything more until I received a contract. Contract was sent on 8/10/20 signed by Kevin Steve. I then printed it out and signed it and returned it to them. I then sent the $500 balance for the puppy via CashApp again. Of course, we were very excited to get the puppy. On 8/12/20, I contacted them to find out flight information as I was picking her up at the Philadelphia International Airport and was becoming anxious. Kevin Steve texted me back that I would have her tomorrow, which was 8/13/20. I said sure and asked again for flight arrangements, which he said he would send me later that day. A few hours passed and I received an email from trans-livecourier.com stating they had "Luna" and could not ship her to COVID 19 regulations and I must purchase or rent an air-conditioned crate for her to travel in. I immediately texted Kevin Steve that I could not afford this expense! He informed me the cost of the crate, once returned to the traveling nanny, would 100% refundable. I admit at this point, I was skeptical, but I was afraid the puppy was sitting in a hot airport . I texted Kevin Steve that I was not told about the crate and would have to borrow the money and his reply was "it not my fault" "it because of COVID". I then was given the CashApp information and sent over the $750 crate rental free. Kevin Steve stated they had received it and he assured me I would get the puppy and he was sending over flight information. I texted him several times, but never received the flight information or a reply. Needless to say, I never received the puppy or any monies back.

We tried buying a corgi puppy from awe gracious corgi website. They only communicated through email and text message. They used Cashapp to take our money with a signed contract agreement that the amount covered the cost of the puppy and the delivery. On delivery day we received an email supposedly from the delivery service asking for an astronomical amount more for a specialized crate that the puppy would need do to new covid policy procedures. Of course Kevin and Linda Steve from awe gracious corgi would not cover this additional cost. When told that they needed to fully refund the money we had already paid they said it would take 6 business to refund it. Do not use awe gracious corgi from Atlanta Georgia for any purchases.

Total money lost $800

Type of a scam Online Purchase

We were looking to buy a corgi puppy. We came across Awe Gracious Corgi. Through email and text conversation we paid $800 through a cash app account. We signed a contract saying that the 800 dollars covered the cost of the puppy as well as delivery. The next day we were contacted through email by a delivery company wanting $1400 or more dollars for a specialized crate that was needed to do COVID. They seller did not seem surprised by this astronomical price increase and kept blaming covid. After texts messages back and forth because they too busy to answer their phone due to being in a dog training class, we said we needed the full $800 refunded since they broke their contract. They said it would take up to 6 days to do the refund. We informed them that they could take the money so quickly they needed to refund it quicker. When we mentioned reporting the scam they threw in the threat of contacting their legal team.

The website of AWE Gracious Gorgi stated they had Corgi puppies available. I sent an email requesting information on a particular puppy. They said the puppy was available but I needed to send a $500 deposit to reserve the puppy and then pay $200 when I pick up the puppy. I told them I would pay the entire amount when I pick up the puppy, if it’s still available. Their response was "no, follow instructions. You must make the $500 deposit before we can receive you." I told them to forget it because I wasn’t sending $500 to someone I do not know. They responded, "doesn’t matter to us." They were very rude!
