I started applying for jobs on Zip recruiter.com text and email started coming. I received a text from a Mrs. Anita Barney HR Manager for ASC Pty Ltd “I’m contacting you in regards your resume posted Please reply if you are interested in proceeding? “and of course I said yes. The interview and all following conversations was on Google Hangouts. I never talked to a person on the phone and I never met with any of them in person. It was supposed to be an online job; I was give two task to write an article. I was told I would get a check delivered by FedEx. so I can buy computer equipment and Office supplies and to pay myself with part of the funds. They text me numerous times wanting to know if I cashed the check. I call the bank that was on the check to see if it was real. They asked for the check number and the amount and let me know that it was a fraudulent cashier’s check.
