Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I clicked a link about a job where I’d advertise for Aquafina on my car back in March. It paid $500 a week. They asked for my name, address, and the make & model of my car. 3 months later someone sent me a text stating I would get a check in the mail and to deposit it into my account. Once it was deposited, I needed to send a picture of the deposit receipt. I finally got the check a couple of days ago. It was for $3550. $550 was payment for me and the rest was supposed to go to the technician that applied the decal to my car. The check was from a Suncoast Credit Union. I called the number back that text me to get more information but no one answered. That’s when I got suspicious.
