I was called 5 times in 4 hours from the numbers listed above. It was a recording stating that there was possible fraud actions in my Apple Cloud account. I don’t have an active Apple account. I pushed a button to be put through to a representative when the 404 number called me. I spoke briefly with someone with an accent and told him I did not have an account and to remove me from the call list. He then just said "heeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy" for a really long time. This all started and hour after I mistakenly entered my contact information into what I believe is a fraudulent website for discounted Rayban sunglasses: rb-time.com, that tried to charge me money fraudulently.

Presented themselves as Apple were trying to sell services to assist with patient questions through our website. offered a free trial and attempted to charge a non working credit card $***. Started calling constantly trying to collect money for services not rendered. No paperwork was signed and the "company" is very hard to reach.

I finally answered their calls after ignoring them at first. They said my apple devices had been compromised and hacked. I was on the phone with them and they made me believe what they said was true. They remotely got into my laptop to run a report to verify the problem. I foolishly gave info. regarding my bank card and they wanted me to go the Walgreen’s or some other stores to buy gift cards. I got angry and told them they were scammers and that I was reporting them to the police. They told me to just hang up. I immediately cancelled my bank card. They haven’t called back.

Switched from an Apple phone to an Android phone. When I tried to access the apple music app it would not accept my password. after several attempts to change it I tried to check on my laptop and it said my account had expired. I called (what I thought was) Apple, and they said because I switched the type of cell it was common for the accounts to be cancelled or put on hold. I was told to get an Apple prepaid card for **$ and that I would be reimbursed. I did, then the East Indian man said that there was an error due to so many attempts to change the password and that I needed to get Google Play cards for ***$ and that they would reimburse me in a few minutes. I was stupid and fell for it, and we went over the codes on all the cards. Then I fell for it Again and got another ***$ in Apple cards and went through those numbers too. It was when they said they needed MORE cards to continue I cut ties with them.

They were quite polite (until I would not get more cards for them), and it sounded like they were in a call center. Lots of please and thank you Mam’s.

I was very stupid to fall for it, seems blatently obvious to me now.

I called Apple (855 664-0066, number I found under Apple support) because my Ipad was not working and I needed tech help. When someone (a man with a strong asian accent) answered "This is Apple-how can I help you" I reported to him that I couldn’t open my I pad and I was getting the message that it had not been backed for several months-I, in fact, had not used it for a long time.

He told me that to reactivate my Ipad I should go out and buy $*** worth of ITune cards, which will be refunded as soon as the Ipad is reactivated. I found it strange, but also figured that maybe it made sense to activate the IPad through ITunes cards-and since I thought I was dealing with Apple I figured I should do what I was told. He gave me his name and number :Tong, #1029 and told me to call him back after I had the cards. I went out, got the Tunes cards and called him back. He asked I scratch the cards and read the numbers to him. I used my credit card to purchase the ITunes. When I asked how I get my money back-he said his manager needed to do that-and he’ll get him on the phone. Someone who identified himself as Darwin Douglas, #1308 came on the line and told me he was the manager and I needed to purchase another $100 worth of cards in order to get my money back. By then I realized I had been taken, told him he was a fraud, jotted both names and their numbers down (in order not to forget them) and hung up.

I was leaving on a 2 week trip that same day and decided I would not use the credit card I had purchased the ITunes cards with for the duration of my trip-so that in case these scammers had somehow gotten my credit card number, I would know if they used. This happened on March 30th. Today is April 15 and there are no unknown charges on my credit card since the incident-so it seems I was lucky in that they didn’t get to my credit card-but

they certainly got $*** through the ITunes cards.

I am upset with myself for falling for this scam and hope that by reporting it, others will be made aware to what lengths scammers can to.

others won’ feel so

This person calls saying they are with Apple support and asks for information regarding your AppleID and computer. If you call their number back a person picks up saying they are with support. When you ask for what company, they say Apple support in California.

I got a call, supposedly from Apple, telling me my icloud account has been breached and to call apple support at 801-396 7792. I knew it was a scam because I’ve spoke with apple on the phone before and this experience was so unprofessional unlike my real experience with talking to Apple.

Please inform everyone of this scam before someone’s identity is stolen.

The email I received said my $102 order, which I never placed, was shipping. Thinking the was some sort of mistake I figured I better see how to cancel this. Then I noticed a handy link to where I could “cancel anytime”. Of course the link, which had nothing to do with Apple asked for all sorts of personal information. Everything looked very authentic, but it was all phoney.

I saved the email, and I’ll forward it to you if you like.

Called me and told my my iCloud account had been hacked and that they needed to remotely control my computer in order to show me. They had me install zoho and then asked me to go get some coffee while they resolved some technical issues. I then disconnected caught on that it was a scam.
