I called classified ad on craigslist for my area Houma,LA. Left message for a 2005 Toyota Tundra. Someone texted me back saying it was her sister’s truck to contact her @email. She said she is in the military/being sent overseas,reason she is selling truck cheap. Sent a fake EBay invoice that looked like the real deal. I am on eBay all the time/never had this happen. It fooled me,these people have really stepped up their game. Wanted payment with eBay gift cards,invoice had eBay buyer protection on it/all. Never got truck,they got $1500 and right after were still trying to extort another $1000 for shipping insurance. It was suppose to be free shipping. Don’t fall for it especially if you are old,poor/disabled like me.
