Type of a scam Employment
I have a profile on Care.com and have worked as a nanny before using this site. I received a job offer and was contacted by a woman named Ann Johnson. She said she and her family were from Ireland and they were moving to the States in the next couple weeks. She asked that I prepare their house before their arrival. Assuming it was a legitimate job offer, I accepted and was willing to help them while they prepared to move. They sent me a check and asked that I deposit it and take half of my first weeks pay and then send the remaining money to their realtor. The check, however was signed under a fake name and she has texted me using two different numbers with two different area codes. One was Florida and one was California.
