Type of a scam Employment
I was contacted on Indeed.com by this company offering employment from home. I looked up the company online and it’s a legitimate company. They contacted me via email, and requested that I set up a google email. I was then given an online test and they said I was hired. They would pay me for training. They emailed me a check for $1200.00, and requested that I print it out and mobile deposit it. When I received the check I immediately checked the routing number and it did not exist. I did not have them any bank account number or routing number, but I did give them the name of my bank. I called ScamPulse.com and they directed me to go on your website and report it. They even sent me a employment agreement and a no disclosure agreement that looked very legitimate. They do have my address and phone number, but no other personal information, such as social security number. I can see how this would be very easy for someone to fall for. I did lose my job recently and have applied for unemployment so it could have been devastating if I had fallen for it.
