I got a call from a man who said he was with American Tech, a branch of Microsoft he said, in Los Angeles. I ended up sending him $199.99 but realized it was a scam after he asked me to send him 4 $900 gift cards from Walmart. The caller told me that I would get $4,199. He had control of my computer and attempted to show me that it was in my account. The caller was extremely hateful towards the end. I called Amarillo National Bank and they told me that no money had been deposited. My bank was able to stop the charge from my credit card and canceled it for me.
