The business tells people they can get certified to drive a forklift but they only provide the most basic instruction such as moving back and forth on the machine in a tiny room for 20 minutes. These types of businesses epitomize what it means to be a ‘degree mill’ because they offer virtually no value to their customers because they don’t care about training them to be useful to employers. All they care about is how quickly they can show that they trained somebody while taking the most money they can in the process.
