Type of a scam Charity
I received a call at work, first they identified themselves as being from my insurance company, then they said they were representing the American Diabetes Association. They wanted to verify my home address, date of birth, health insurance, home telephone number. What they had was wrong of course and I refused to give them the correct information. They told me if I did not give them the correct information they would call me 20 times a day if they had to until I gave them this important information for the American Diabetes Association. I hung up, I chatted with the American Diabetes Association online and they said they never ask for this type of information. I called back the number that showed up on my caller ID and it of course was a number no longer in service. The 2 men I spoke with barely spoke English and so the call was long and drawn out with me trying to understand what they wanted.,
