Type of a scam Debt Collections
I opened up a PayPal account on 4/7/2020 and used it to send two $25 payments to my mother. On 4/13/2020 I received a letter in the mail from American Coradius International LLC dated 4/6/2020 stating that I was in debt to Pay Pal and that they were employed to collect $596.85. Clearly I am not in debt to Pay Pal when the letter is dated the day before I opened the account and I receive the letter only 5 days after opening the account. I couldn’t have even been hacked and sent to collections in that amount of time. So obviously a scam!
