Received letter in mail for "Supermarket customer sweepstakes raffle draw" with check for $8760.56. Called person referenced on letter out of curosity. Person only stated to cash check and contact him as soon as check was cashed. When asked for more information he hung up. Sweepstakes stated winning prize $980,000. Processing fee of 7878 which I assume he was going to ask me to wire to him after cashing check. Check most likely fraudulent.
Ameri-can appears to be legitimate business but not related to sweepstake winnings.

I received a letter stating I was one of the winners of the "SUPERMARKET CUSTOMER SWEEPSTAKES RAFFLE DRAW." I was one of the six winning tickets of $980,000.00. A check was enclosed for $8,760.52 to help the processing/clearance fee payment of $7,7878.00 leaving me with a balance of $941,240.00. I was to contact Chris Goodman.
Is this the same Chris Goodman from Sudbury Ontario who is currently pulling an interlocking driveway scam up here?
