The call came in a ladies voice saying my acct was being charged 34.99 dollars by amazon prime video. press 1 if you want to cancel and get a refund. went on line to see if acct was refunded and they took 3499.00 out of my shavings acct and place in in my checking acct saying they mistakenly typed in the wrong amount and the money would need to be transferred back. we called the bank and asked about this and they notice a transfer from our savings that we did not make. they were trying to get has to go to Walgreens and transfer the 3499.00 to them and then they would refund the 34.44. I have no idea how they transferred that money to make it look like it came from them. If i would have followed their plan

they would have stolen 3499.00 from us

Called the Amazon Prime Customer Support # listed on Google Search – 1877.272.8307. Acted like they were customer service, we were checking on some charges on our account. The representative said we had identity theft and multiple orders taking place all over the country.

They said they needed to verify our server and prove we were the real account. They said they would issue $400.00 of Amazon credit on our credit card to cover server verification. They wanted me to go to CVS and purchase 2- $200 EBAY gift cards so they could verify our server. the text they sent with the Amazon Credit was from # 1 956.378.6051. The is a Huge scam and the call after business hours at 7:09 pm cst.

I have been receiving calls from Amazon Prime on my cell phone. I spoke to the caller. He has my name and number. Identified himself as being with Amazon Prime. Max. He was rude. He asked if I spoke English. He wanted me to go to my computer Type in Amazon Prime and type in certain numbers and letter to cancel my subscription. i do not have a subscription with Amazon Prime. They would continue to bill me $39.99 if I don’t cancel. I said how did you get my credit card number. He said Amazon Prime has it. I told him to stop calling. He said We will keep billing your credit card. I called the phone back that they called from 508-903-2158. It is not a working number. I think he is trying to get information from my computer. They could hack into my computer.

My Amazon Prime account renews in September every year so I knew this was a scam . I’m afraid others may not think and just fill out the form prior to verifying through their account !!

I received an e-mail claiming confirmation of an amazon prime order made by me and being sent to someone in Ohio I have never heard of. I tried calling the phone number in the e-mail and the barely English speaking guy tried to get me to let him remotely access my computer. Fat chance! Don’t fall for this.

On September 14, 2019, I called a toll-free telephone number (not listed above – I do not remember it) from an online search that I thought was Amazon Prime customer support to inquire about a recent video charge to my account. The agent, later known to me as Sam Willson, said that we would need to screen share in order to access my account. I agreed and while screen sharing, he pretended to be very helpful in locating problems on my laptop such as uninstalled updates and my disabled anti-virus software, Windows Defender. He showed me information on my computer which he said needed to be corrected with new anti-virus software, and then showed me the website of MC Helper, including it’s accreditation with the Better Business Bureau. At first, I was very skeptical and questioned him about whom he represented; Amazon or MC Helper. He confirmed that I had called Amazon and was very persistent in convincing me to purchase a trial plan with MC Helper to clean my computer.

I agreed to contract with MC Helper and paid $129.99 for a six month unlimited plan. I am filing a separate claim with the ScamPulse.com for MC Helper because on December 18, 2019 this same person, Sam Willson, posed as an MC Helper technician and eventually stole money from my bank account. I discovered that it was the same person who I had encountered in September when I reviewed my MC Helper contract and remembered that I had originally called Amazon Prime and spoke to that same technician. The 888 phone numbers above were listed on my MC Helper contract and the 805-323-3584 cell phone number is one the Sam Willson called me as an MC Helper technician. That cell phone listed Ventura, CA as it’s location. I later discovered that the gmail address is one that he used to email a receipt in December.

California as it’s location.

I get multiple calls from multiple numbers, they are robocall recorded messages directing me through a phone tree about my Amazon Prime. I pressed number 2, and a man with an Indian accent came on the line and he said: "In order for me to stop your Amazon Prime account I have to have remote access to your account". He was persistent, kept saying turn on your computer.

I received a call from someone claiming they were from Amazon Prime. I did not answer the phone because I did not recognize the number, so they left a voicemail stating that I owed Amazon Prime over $300 for the online purchase of an iPhone. Neither I nor my husband made this purchase. We don’t even have Amazon Prime. I did not call the number back and they did not get any money from us.

We were charged for an additional year of Amazon Prime. When we went to cancel the membership we were connected to a scam artist who said they would refund the charge and give us an additional $50. gift card through Amazon. At one point they hung up and shortly after we recieved a message from Chase that a 150. charge just came through. By the time we called Amazon, the scammer was in the process of charging 3 more 150. gift cards. What a headache and disappointment do not trust this number!!!

Cargo trailer listed on Craigslist for sale. Replied to seller because of interest in the item. An email then came from [email protected] saying she received it in her divorce and needs to get rid of it immediately since she will be shipping off to Syria on April 15, 2017. Then came the next email of: "I have the clear title and the bill of sale. All the paperwork notarized by a legal attorney are ready to be transferred under new owner’s name. I also want to let you know that the price is firm, non negotiable $1,500.00. Right now I’m at Minot AFB in North Dakota, doing a special training and getting ready for my deployment to Syria. The trailer is already at the Amazon warehouse, here in Minot, sealed and ready to be delivered to your place in 2-3 days. The transaction will be done ONLY through Amazon. They will handle the shipping, the payment and the paper exchange. By dealing through Amazon, we are both covered 100% and nothing wrong can happen with my trailer or your money. You will benefit of free delivery (3 days top) and a 7 day period to test, inspect and accept the Featherlite. The best thing to know is that the money won’t leave your hand until you will receive, inspect and decide if you want to keep the trailer. If you’re interested, please reply with your full name, shipping address and the best phone # where you can be reached at. I will forward your details to Amazon and they will contact you with more info on how to purchase it and how to make the payment.

Regards,

Anne Stewar"
