This so called "marketing group" contacted my wife, asking if she was still interested in working for amazon marketing. At that time she said yes, as she was very interested in working for amazon. This is when the fast talking began by Alpha Marketing as they claimed to be an affiliate of Amazon and could offer all of the tools and support necessary to create her own online business as an independent contractor of amazon. They promised that she would be supported by what seemed to be an indefinite number of "advisors/coaches" who would show her step by step how to funnel target audiences through her "website" that they would obviously create for her which would generate years of uncapped residual income. Once the "onetime" fee was paid she received an email stating that her website was created and she is now ready to begin making money. Ironically one of the fees they said was for amazon does not exist as explained by an actual amazon employee that we later spoke with prior to this complaint being made. What they did not tell her is that once you give them your money, the advisors and endless support staff disappear and your "money making website" is not operable. After several, and I mean SEVERAL attempts within the first week to reach someone with ALPHA MARKETING GROUP regarding the in-operable website there was no support to be found. Even after several messages were left asking them to return her call. Having serious concerns that this was a scam, we were able to confirm that it was after contacting Amazon’s affiliate customer service department. She was informed the website created by ALPHA MARKETING GROUP was fraudulent and in no form an affiliate of Amazon like they claimed to be . The representative then asked what "affiliate organization" she was supposed to be linked with. This is when we found out " ALPHA MARKETING GROUP" is NOT AN AFFILIATE OF AMAZON as the gentleman regretfully informed us that we were more than likely scammed. The representative from amazon was more than helpful and courteous as one would expect to be treated.
It appears that this marketing organization tells individuals what they want to hear in order to obtain your money then conveniently does not respond to you for more than three days as that magically is the maximum length of time you have to request a full refund according to the refund policy on their website. It is an absolute shame that innocent patrons who simply want nothing more than to provide for their family ends up losing money because of poor and unethical business practices. If you ask a representative from ALPHA MARKETING GROUP about their ScamPulse.com rating they will adamantly tell you not to look them up using ScamPulse.com but to refer to the online business bureau. We simply want our money refunded and the misrepresentation to cease.
