The roof work was completed as promised by the workers of All Seasons Home Improvement. The company owner, Mr. Michael Smallwood, convinced us to give him the insurance check to have his accountant send it to Bank of America to get endorsed instead of us sending it in ourselves. He said they had "connections" and could get it done faster. Long story short….Mr. Smallwood forged the signatures of myself, my wife, and Bank of America so he could cash the check. We made a million phone calls to our insurance company and BAC Home Loans. They told us to go to the local police to file a report. We did and found out that another local family was more unlucky than us. They gave Mr. Smallwood a check before the work was even started and he took off on them. The police investigation found that Mr. Smallwood and his wife were both arrested and indicted by the Grand Jury in Tennessee on similar charges.
