I ordered two sun relaxing chairs on the 23rd May and on the 14th of August I recieved a yellow fake gold circle in a ring box I’m furious, I’ve been to the post office this morning for the paper trail , surely PayPal should cover this

I ordered 2 x swing chairs in April from Chavezmall ad on FB, received nothing then contacted paypal and got a reply from the company saying that they had been shipped with a tracking number. I have tracked the shipment ever since. Today it arrived July 23rd, the package contained no swing hammocks but a ring box containing a fake gold ring

What I ordered looks nothing like the picture. What I ordered was a hammock swing, I got a cheap tent with an inner tube.

On May 12, 2020 I saw the Nest Hammock Swing Chair advertised on Facebook by a company called aflyers. Yes. The ‘A’ was not capitalized and I thought that was interesting, but I was not alarmed. A lady posted that she loved the swing and had just ordered one and many people also commented they had ordered one. I also loved it and loved the price, $57.99 with free shipping. (So many red flags that I missed!) I have since learned that the actual price these sell for is about $300.00.

The ‘company’ was a sponsored advertiser on Facebook. I have not been able to successfully communicate the scam to Facebook and do not know how to do so. I will try again.

As time went on and the swing didn’t arrive, I began emailing the address on the "store" link. As I looked, I saw there was no phone number or address under the contacts. A second email address was used to follow up with my persistent communication. The second email address used is [email protected] The email communication I have had shows that the ‘seller’ does not have a good grasp on English. I have had 18 emails exchanged with them. Also, EVERY SINGLE person on the FB post that ordered the swing did not receive the swing.

There are other other ‘shop’ names that sell the nest swing for about same price and the very similar wording. I do not know if these are also scams, but the ads look nearly identical. Some of these ‘shop’names are; insmall, which has the same email address as aflyers, RTUNATELY, ingavaid.com, chavezmall, and TENGEWR.

I posted a photo of what I ordered, but I never received it. It is shameful to take advantage of people at any time, but during these difficult times, it is like being kicked while you are down. I do hope you can stop these criminals from continuing to steal from unsuspecting people.
