Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

To say that I am beyond livid today is an understatement. About two weeks ago, my husband and I set up an appointment with Dr. Cahill. We liked the idea of having at home care for our dog, as she is getting older and we wanted to run routine bloodwork and get her teeth cleaned. The appointment was for 7pm on a Friday. Dr. Cahill did not show up to our house until after 9pm.

He cleaned her teeth and drew her blood and the entire time she was "under," he was stating, "this is what your brain is like on PCP." He made this reference SO MANY TIMES that My husband and I got genuinely concerned with what drugs he put her on to put her under for the procedures. His bedside manner was awful and he made statements that were callous and insensitive. We tried to let it go, we paid for the procedures and he told us he would call within a week with results.

Fast forward to earlier this week, Dr. Cahill calls Colin and as soon as my husband picks up, Dr. Cahills very first words to him were, "well, they turn 11 and just start falling apart!" Obviously, this put us on edge and now we Were waiting to hear the results. Dr. Cahill told us that she has pancreatitis and liver problems and that he may have to run further tests. In the meantime he Insisted on a special diet and medication plan that could only be purchased through him. We then asked for him to send us the bloodwork results and though Dr. Cahill was hesitant, he claims that he has "mailed" them to us. We are still waiting on his results, but after reading his yelp reviews, we decided to get a second opinion.

Yesterday, I took our dog to a real vet who has treated our dogs throughout the last few years. They have walk-in hours so it is easy to get in there in a pinch. I told them we were concerned about pancreatitis and liver function, so they ran a FULL BLOOD PANEL and we just got the results less than 24 hours later. They have reported back to us that our dog had NEAR PERFECT bloodwork and that there was nothing to be concerned with. There was a slight discrepancy in her phosphate, but they claim it is not at any level that we need to worry about.

We are still waiting on the test results from Dr. Cahill, but I am honestly concerned if he will be sending us any results that are even valid. What if he sends us a generic result that shows the results he wants us to see just so we have to use his treatment plan? If we trusted him, we would have our dog on unnecessary medications that could have actually been detrimental to her health.

we need to get this mans business shut down and prevent him from running his scam, please let me know! We need to shut his company down and keep him the hell away from any animals!
