Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
Filled out online loan application. Received a call stating I was approved. Gave me three options. Cosigner or three months payment in advance or an Insurance payment. I chose the cosigner. Requested information from me and supplied all documents. Every response was "you will get your loan today, I don’t handle that department". Had another so called rep telling me the best option would be to send the three months payment and would receive the money in an hour. Gave me directions to send through Western Union going to Canada. I declined. Asked my cosigner to send over credit report and needed to be over seven hundred. It was seven hundred eighty three. Still told I would receive loan that day. Many back and forth calls to finally say cosigner was declined, however told her, her information was good. Now they have her bank information, I.D., pay stubs and lots of information that can be used for credit fraud.
