Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
James Smith sent me an email thru Advance America Personal & Online Loan that contained a loan confirmation and that I was approved for $10,000.00 and all I needed to do was call the number listed to receive the money. I questioned it but still called only to get a message that the text now subscriber is not available and to leave a message. After hearing text now I went online to check BBB. They were listed just as the contract showed. James returned my call and I was asked who I bank with and after I told him I didn’t do online banking. He told me to get easy pay card so that they can load the money on it but in order to get the card you have to add money on the card. I went to the bank and asked if they were familiar with online loans so the gentleman that I spoke to proceeded to tell me it may be a scam. I gave him the contract to give to his supervisor to look over. She said it was a scam to get the money that you put on the card. They have had customers that have got the card, and the money that they added was taken off and none was added. I’m glad I was questioning whether it was valid because it lead me to check into it further and not loose any money. ScamPulse.com has it listed but it has a F rating and no one left any comments so I thought I should help someone else by doing so.
