Type of a scam Moving

So, I hired this company after interviewing and receiving several quotes from other company. My move was only 657 miles…from Atlanta to Boynton Beach, and while the contract said 9 business days, I was told by the salesperson, Chris Carter, that it was so close that it should take no more than 4-5 days. I was also informed that they had over 20 trucks it is never an issue if there is a breakdown…they could easily send another truck. I was told I would get delivery by 12/2 and today is 12/9. I needed the quick turnaround as I explained to them, because I have multiple back surgeries and had just recently had one on 12/27.

Every bit of information I have received since then has changed…On Friday, this past week I was told by Tayor that it would be no problem for them to arrive tuesday morning (tomorrow) the latest, even if the drivers had to stay in a hotel.

Today, after finally speaking To Taylors boss, Tim, that the delivery would not be until Thursday and my things never last Atlanta and have been in a storage unit….I have very sentimental and valuable things that should NOT be in a storage unit as they are sensitive to extreme temparatures. Tim was rude and said I know nothing about the moving business. I answered that I have moved with movers several times and have not received such poor customer service. I may not know about the moving business details, but as an experienced executive I DO KNOW about customer service. He hung up on me. I am very concerned that this is a scam and that I may never receive my belongings and if I do they will not be in good condition. In storage in"Hotlanta for over 9days?" what about bed bugs, etc
