A phone call interrupted a phone call I was on and I took the call thinking it was someone I was expecting a call back from.

At that point, the number came up on caller id as unknown name 1-507-248-2288 and I realized it was not the party I was expecting.

But, I had already said "Hello."

A voice then said quickly, "Press 1 to end call" and at the same time a woman began speaking.

It was 2 audio tracks going on at the same time.

The woman stated, "I’m from the Social Security Administration and I’m calling about your Social Security Disability application."

I said nothing. (Because I do not have this situation and have not applied for any such thing.)

The woman then stated, "Can you hear me?"

I said nothing.

The woman stated my name and asked, "Are you there? Can you hear me?"

I said, "There is no possibility that this call has anything to do with me."

The woman (or the automated audio) immediately hung up.

I then went through my caller id list and saw that this number has called before several times but leaves no message.

I did an online search and found that the number is listed as a Frontier Communications landline located in Henderson, MN

and that there are other indications online that this is a number used for scamming people.

This person or robot calling device knew my name, my unlisted phone number.

And I am on the "Do Not Call" list.

I did not answer the call as I did not recognize the number but the voice mail stated to call them back. When I called back and did not give my name they hung up. I tried repeatedly to call back after and one woman told me "I know who you are and don’t call her no more". I then called several more times and the calls was immediately released. I’m guessing they put a hang up on my caller ID. You could hear multiple callers in the background.

The transcription of the voicemail was as follows:

"Security number so kindly press one to connect to our office or call us back on our number that is 877-262-4730, I repeat is 877-262-4730 sorry you did not press one yet kindly please press one to contact our officer thank you and have a blessed day.:

Sorry, but I prefer not to give my name, etc. I’m doing this to be helpful and to get the word out.

There were numerous phone messages on my phone saying there was fraudulent activity against my social security number, and wanted me to call before legal action was taken against me. When I called, a man identified himself as a social security administrator, gave me his federal I.D. number and my case number. He then told me to get aa open and paper to write down that info which he repeated. He then proceeded to tell me there were many charge cards with my name found at a drug smuggling site where they found x amount of kilos of cocaine. At that point I handed the phone to my husband who works for the police department and never found out what this caller was asking for; I had never been in the area he mentioned!

I received a call form phone number443-341-9150 letting me know my social security was going to be suspended and I needed to call them back. When I called back a male describing himself as a law officer told me that my identity had been linked to drug trafficking and money laundry. He told me that I needed a lawyer. But he needed more information from me. When I refused to give him any information, he got upset and told me that the police was going to go to my domicile to arrest me. He actually said that I needed to go to my nearest police station because I was in big trouble.

I received 3+ calls from this number even though I have blocked it. It is a robo call with a woman’s voice saying you need to call them before you are arrested or they take legal action against you.

I received a call, that went to VM. They left a message saying my SSN was suspended due to fraudulent activity and I needed to press 1 if I wanted to know more. There was no phone left on the message to call just a Robo call. I knew immediately this was a Scam, I am sharing it so no one does get scammed into giving out their SSN or other personal information.

Missed the call, returned call claimed to be SSA. Questioned whether or not I’ve been contacted by my local police department. Have me a name id a person handling my case and a case for #. Went on to tell me that a car registered to me was abandoned on the southern boarder of Texas. That there was blood found in the car along with 14 pounds of cocaine and $150,000 cash. The US Marshall’s have already raided the two addresses associated with the car title and found no one. He went on to ask me for the name of my defense attorney. I told him I don’t have one nor do I need one. He insisted that I would as there were criminal charges I was facing including, drug trafficking, money laundering and a potential homicide. He then asked if I needed his help getting an attorney. I asked him if he had an attorney because I was calling my local police department and the ScamPulse.com once the call was over. He became upset and went on to tell me that the FBI was going to be coming after me. That they were going to use my phone location to find me. Needless to say it’s clearly a scam to get people to give money for an attorney.
