Type of a scam Debt Collections
Caller stated he worked for IRS Internal Investigation Dept. he gave a name. Badge ID and case number. When I argued with the person he said I would be arrested and all assets frozen and property seized. He then said he would connect me with his superior. These were all foreign accents speaking English poorly. When I said perhaps I should call the police they he tried to tell me I would be arrested within the hour and when I said I didn’t care I was calling the police he hung up. They were asking for over $ 3,000.00
