Type of a scam Employment
A man named Jefferson Oldman reached me to offer me a position for marketing. He said that I could make $300 weekly by having my car wrapped in the current product they are advertising which in this case was Irish Springs Body Wash. They said that they would send me a check/ cashier’s check for the $300 including additional funds to pay the "car wrap specialist" which I was to arrange a public area where this person could meet me and wrap my car. Then upon meeting the special I was supposed to give them the money. So in essence I would deduct my weekly pay and then give the rest to the car wrap specialist. The total the check would be for was supposed to be $3300.25 meaning that instead of paying the car wrap specialist that they found they would entrust a total stranger (me) with $3000.25 to pay this car wrap specialist.
