Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

Mr. Steven Casey (has accent of an Asian Indian immigrant) called my cellphone number, said I was approved for a $2000-$6000 personal loan, and asked for return call. WHen I called, he provided me (via email) with a loan agreement (more of a loan proposal than an agreement), and he said that before depositing the loan amount to my bank account (TD Bank or Chase), he will deposit $900 to my account and I needed to return the money to him next day, through a Cashapp, or Walmart prepaid card. He asked for my bank account# and routing#, to initiate the ACH deposit, but also asked for my debit card#, which I hesitated to give because I grew suspicious. He also asked for my online user ID and password for the bank. WHen I refused, he insisted it was their policy. He still insisted, but I again refused, so then he told me to go look for another lender. He also tried to justify the initial deposit was supposed to help "improve me credit score". That was a lot of bull.

You are so right! He just called my phone today and said the EXACT same thing! Once he asked for my ID and password that’s when I knew he was a scammer. I actually told him that I looked him up and saw it online..
Honestly if its not a legit company you know its a scam! Now they are using American names with the heavy Indian accident… I don’t think so!
